Anastacia M Rogers joined Capstone Rural Health Clinic in 2018 as a Licensed Masters Social Worker at the Parrish location.
Anastacia graduated from Rhodes University in South Africa with her Bachelors in Psychology and Human Kinetics & Ergonomics. She obtained her honors in Psychology from the University of South Africa. Anastacia graduated with her Masters of Social Work from The University of Alabama in 2017 and obtained her LMSW in 2017. Her concentration is in individuals and their families in the health care setting, and her interest is in integrated health care in Alabama.
Anastacia worked for the SBIRT program where she screened and evaluated patients for substance use. Based on patients’ needs, Anastacia implemented a brief intervention, offered brief treatment or assisted in referral to treatment. Anastacia currently works as a LMSW at Capstone, where she screens for depression, anxiety, and substance use. Based on the patient’s needs, Anastacia implements a brief intervention. If further assistance is needed brief therapy, and referral to treatment is offered. Anastacia collaborates with other professionals at Capstone to impact the lives of the most vulnerable populations in Alabama
