Rebekah Day DNP, ACNPC-AG
Dr. Rebekah Day joined Capstone Health in March 2026. As a Board-Certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Day provides care for adult patients with complex and acute health conditions. In addition, Dr. Day serves as a Student Competency Educator with the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing, supporting the development of future nursing professionals.
Prior to joining Capstone Health, Dr. Day served as a Clinical Instructor and Student Competency Educator at the UAB School of Nursing. She also served at Jasper Family Practice, Tenet Health, Brookwood Baptist, Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, and the Neuro ICU at UAB Hospital.
Dr. Day obtained an Associate Degree in Nursing from Bevill State Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University, and a Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She later earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Certificate of Teaching in Nursing from UAB.
Dr. Day is an active member of the National League for Nursing, Alabama League for Nursing, International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning, and American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. She has also contributed to research, publications, and presentations focused on simulation training and emergency preparedness.
Dr. Day resides in the Curry, Alabama area with her family.
