Capstone Health Partners with Backyard Blessings to Support Summer Feeding Program
Capstone Health is proud to announce a partnership with Backyard Blessings to support its Summer Feeding Program, aimed at combating food insecurity among children during the summer months.
Backyard Blessings, a nonprofit organization based in Sumiton, Alabama, provides weekend food bags to children who may otherwise go without meals when school is not in session. While distribution is streamlined during the school year, reaching children in the summer presents greater challenges due to limited transportation and accessibility.
To help bridge this gap, Capstone Health will offer food bags for children of all ages at its Nauvoo, Parrish, and West Jasper locations. Families can pick up the food bags once a week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
This partnership reflects Capstone’s continued commitment to supporting the health and well-being of the communities it serves.
