YOUR HEALTH, OUR MISSION: CAPSTONE HEALTH CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF SERVICE

Capstone Health is proud to celebrate its 25-year anniversary of providing compassionate, high-quality health care to individuals and families across Northwest Alabama.

As a nationally recognized healthcare provider and a Top 20% Community Health Center Quality Award recipient, Capstone Health remains committed to its mission that quality, comprehensive health care should be accessible to everyone.

To mark this milestone, Capstone Health will host multiple anniversary celebrations throughout the year, recognizing their patients, staff, and community partners who have been part of their journey.

Since opening its doors in 2001, Capstone Health has served more than 40,000 individuals throughout Walker and Winston counties. What began in an office trailer on Highway 269 in Parrish, with a goal of delivering family-centered primary care to rural areas, has grown into a multi-location system of care.

Today, Capstone Health provides access to affordable, high-quality services including primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, men’s health, behavioral health, pharmacy, optometry, and two school-based health centers.

“Capstone has experienced exceptional growth and remains committed to helping individuals navigate the health care system with compassion,” said Dr. F. David Jones, Executive Director. “Many face barriers such as lack of insurance or access to care. We can’t fix everything, but we strive to be a helpful first step.”

As Capstone Health reflects on 25 years of service, the organization looks ahead with continued dedication to improving access, advancing quality care, and strengthening the health of the communities it serves.
